GHS Federal Credit Union, Binghamton, N.Y., announced the promotion of Kevin Kelly. Kelly joined GHS in the spring of 2011 and has recently been promoted to IS manager where he oversees the daily operations of GHS's information systems, including overseeing the IS staff, managing the network, GHS's defenses, and safeguarding assets by planning and implementing disaster recovery and backup procedures, information security and control structures. Kelly holds an associate degree in applied science, computer technology and has completed courses at Binghamton University.

Sharon Credit Union, Sharon, Mass., announced the promotion of Linda Fountain to chief lending officer. Fountain joined the credit union in 2002 as the senior lending officer and has been overseeing the mortgage and lending division for the past 11years.

Ent Federal Credit Union, Colorado Springs, Colo., announced that Tanan Miles has been promoted to director of electronic banking delivery. This newly created position will be focused on the utilization of the credit union's electronic products and services, data analysis and assisting with new product research and recommendations. Miles has been with Ent for seven years and most recently served as a service area manager. He's been in the credit union industry for more than 18 years and has a bachelor's degree in business management from Southern Utah University.

Hawaii Community Federal Credit Union, Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, announced the promotion of Kim Quirit as the Kealakekua branch manager. She will be responsible for the administration and operation, loans, personnel functions, and community and public relations of the branch. Quirit started her career at the credit union in 1988 as a teller. She supplemented her experience by taking specialized credit union courses which earned her certificates in member services, credit union accounting, consumer lending and service excellence. She earned several promotions during her 25-year career with the credit union.

St. Helens Community Federal Credit Union, St. Helens, Ore., announced the hiring of Ryann Conrad as its vice president of marketing. In this new role, Conrad will drive awareness of SHCU products and services as the credit union seeks to strengthen financial relationships with residents and businesses throughout Columbia County. Conrad brings to her position over a decade of industry experience and knowledge, having worked for some of Oregon's leading credit unions. Most recently, Conrad played a key role on the marketing team of Clackamas Federal Credit Union, where she led highly successful member awareness campaigns and developed the credit union's social media strategy. Conrad graduated from Portland State University and is currently a student at Western CUNA Management School. She also serves as chair for the Northwest Credit Union Association's Financial Education Committee.

Security Service Federal Credit Union, San Antonio, announced the promotion of Tracy Queeman-Wilson to vice president of the member contact center and account services. In her new position, Queeman-Wilson will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of the member contact center and account services. Queeman-Wilson holds a business administration degree in human resources from the University of Texas at San Antonio and is a graduate of the North SA Chamber Leadership Lab. She joined SSFCU in 1992 as a member service representative and has since held multiple positions of increasing responsibility, most recently as an assistant vice president of member service for the south district central region. 

Security Service FCU also announced the promotion of Cristi Williams to vice president of operational training. In her new position, Williams will be responsible for the development, design and deployment of member service training curriculum. She will also be responsible for expanding member service procedures and supporting field staff with an operational help desk. Williams joined SSFCU in 2010 as an assistant vice president of member service and has several years of experience in the financial services industry. Her previous experience includes employment with Chase Bank where she served as a vice president/manager and with Wachovia Bank as vice president/service director.

YOUR Community Credit Union, Irving, Texas, has named Dennis Konarski senior vice president marketing. Konarski brings 40 years experience in the financial services industry, including commercial banking, brokerage, savings and loans and credit unions. Konarski holds a bachelor of science in business administration and MBA from Wayne State University in Detroit. Prior to joining YCCU, Konarski served as vice president credit union strategic development at the Texas Credit Union League.

MIDWEST

Michigan State University Federal Credit Union, East Lansing, Mich., announced the promotions of DeAnne M. Ramos and Kelly Showerman to assistant vice presidents of branch operations. Ramos has been with MSUFCU since February 1997, most recently as manager of the Meridian branch. She received a bachelor of arts in accounting from Michigan State University and an MBA from Northwood University. Showerman has worked at MSUFCU since March 2007 and completed MSUFCU's Management Development Program before holding her most recent position.
