Envisant, a CUSO and the business subsidiary of the Illinois Credit Union League, announced Wednesday that it has acquired the IronSafe software system from Trellance Cooperative Holdings, Inc.

The CUSO, which serves nearly 1,900 credit unions through its credit and debit programs, prepaid debit cards, portfolio development consulting, agent credit card programs and ATM services, said it was one of the first and largest users of the software system that it now owns.

Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

The IronSafe software system offers cloud and customer-hosted solutions for the secure display, storage and backup of reports and documents, primarily to the financial services and medical industries. According to the announcement, it activates legacy reports through data extraction that can be displayed in customizable dashboards and analytics tools. Envisant previously used IronSafe for report distribution to its network of credit unions.

“In a rapidly evolving landscape, IronSafe provides a critical foundation for credit unions and businesses managing complex external reporting,” Envisant President/CEO Libby Calderone said. “By bringing this system under our ownership, we’re positioned to innovate and adapt, ensuring it continues to meet the evolving needs of our customers for years to come.”
