Sarah BangNewly-appointed NCUA Chairman Kyle S. Hauptman has appointed Sarah Bang as NCUA chief of staff and senior policy advisor, the federal agency announced Wednesday.
Bang brings over 40 years of experience in the credit union industry and has served as Hauptman’s senior policy advisor since he first joined the NCUA Board in December 2020. She previously served as president/CEO for Financial Service Centers Cooperative Inc. (FSCC), a credit union shared branching and payments network with branches in all 50 states and five countries, before moving to CO-OP Financial Services (now Velera), where she served as EVP of industry relations prior to retiring from the company in 2017.
