Eric Stegall

Eric Stegall was named president/CEO of the $1.2 billion Gulf Coast Educators Federal Credit Union (GCEFCU) in Pasadena, Texas on Thursday.

He succeeds Linda Lukaszewski, who is retiring after 43 years of service at GCEFCU.

Stegall, who holds more than 20 years of experience in the credit union industry, joined GCEFCU in 2011 as its COO.

“Mr. Stegall brings extensive operational knowledge and proven multi-department leadership,” the credit union said in a prepared statement. “As GCEFCU’s former chief operations officer, Eric understands and shares the credit union’s deep commitment to serving educators and is eager to strengthen this legacy of service, ensuring that our members’ needs remain at the forefront of everything we do.”

GCEFCU’s 177 employees operate 11 locations and serve nearly 60,000 members.
