The $880 million, Indianapolis-based Financial Center First Credit Union hired Melissa Smith as vice president of human resource operations and service. In her new role, Smith will drive the organization’s commitment to enhancing the employee experience, focusing on creating an environment where processes are better, faster and easier for employees, just as Financial Center does for its members. She brings over 15 years of experience in human resources, compliance, training and recruiting. Previously, she worked in the manufacturing sector with companies including Toyota Tsusho America and Kimball Electronics. Smith holds certifications in Human Resources Management and Total Quality Management from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.SOUTH
