The $880 million, Indianapolis-based Financial Center First Credit Union hired Melissa Smith as vice president of human resource operations and service. In her new role, Smith will drive the organization’s commitment to enhancing the employee experience, focusing on creating an environment where processes are better, faster and easier for employees, just as Financial Center does for its members. She brings over 15 years of experience in human resources, compliance, training and recruiting. Previously, she worked in the manufacturing sector with companies including Toyota Tsusho America and Kimball Electronics. Smith holds certifications in Human Resources Management and Total Quality Management from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.

The $1.2 billion, Tuscaloosa, Ala.-based Alabama ONE Credit Union announced six executive leadership team appointments.
Tracy Beam was named EVP – chief human resources officer. In her new role, Beam will focus on fostering a dynamic and supportive work environment. She joined Alabama One in September 2022, according to her LinkedIn page.

Brittany Floyd was named EVP – chief marketing and development officer. Floyd brings a wealth of experience in marketing strategies and development, and in her new role, she will focus on expanding the organization’s reach and impact. According to her LinkedIn page, she joined Alabama ONE in 2011 and previously served as director of HR and marketing as well as director of marketing and business development.

Jennifer Naves was named EVP – chief member experience officer. In her new role, she will be focused on enhancing member satisfaction and engagement. According to her LinkedIn page, Naves joined Alabama ONE in 2019 and previously served as TEAM Engagement Manager and senior director of member experience.
