The $6.4 billion, Pasadena, Calif.-based Wescom Credit Union hired Michael Cederbaum as vice president of partner development. In his new role, Cederbaum will focus on leading Wescom’s two key strategic partnerships with UCLA and Knott’s Berry Farm, community engagement and overseeing the Wescom Foundation. He brings more than a decade of experience in sports and entertainment marketing, having most recently served as vice president at cultural marketing agency 160over90. He began his career in health care, serving as a financial analyst at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) in the department of Hematology-Oncology. Cederbaum received his MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.

Hannah Ritzenhein
The $2.3 billion, Kalamazoo, Mich.-based Consumers Credit Union announced two new hires.
Hannah Ritzenhein was hired as a mortgage loan officer at Consumers’ Cascade office in Grand Rapids, Mich. Ritzenhein brings a background in loan processing and as a mortgage loan officer.

Lana Cortes was hired as a mortgage loan officer at Consumers’ 54th Street office in Grand Rapids. Cortes brings a decade of banking experience, beginning her career as a teller. She is bilingual and will be assisting Spanish-speaking members throughout the homebuying application and process at the credit union.

Katherine Easmunt
The NCUA named Katherine Easmunt chief ethics counsel, effective Nov. 3. In her new role, Easmunt oversees the Office of Ethics Counsel, which certifies the agency’s compliance with federal ethics laws and regulations, promotes a culture of accountability and integrity, and helps ensure the success of the NCUA’s ethics program. Easmunt also manages the NCUA’s anti-harassment program. She previously served as the NCUA’s acting chief ethics counsel. Before joining the NCUA in 2019, she supervised the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation’s ethics and anti-harassment programs, serving as alternate designated agency ethics official, assistant general counsel for general law and ethics, and as that agency’s anti-harassment coordinator. From 2006 to 2015, Easmunt served as an attorney with the U.S. Department of Labor with a focus on ethics and appropriations law. She earned her Juris Doctor from the George Mason University School of Law in Arlington, Va.
