Steve Sendon, president/CEO for the $383 million, Helena, Mont.-based Rocky Mountain Credit Union, announced his upcoming retirement. Sendon has served Rocky Mountain for more than 17 years, including the past six years as president/CEO. The Board has engaged D. Hilton Associates to conduct a nationwide search for the next president/CEO. In the meantime, EVP/CFO Cyrus Malkin will serve as interim CEO for the organization.

The $3.4 billion, Chelsea, Mass.-based Metro Credit Union hired Monica Santos as SVP chief marketing officer. In her new role, she oversees all marketing activities for the organization. Prior to joining Metro, Santos was head of brand at Haven Life, a fully-owned subsidiary of MassMutual, where she drove all brand and direct-to-consumer marketing efforts for a variety of insurance products. She also held marketing leadership positions at MassMutual, Santander Bank and TJX. Earlier in her career she worked in advertising, serving clients such as Geico, Ocean Spray and ExxonMobil.

The $3 billion, Appleton, Wis.-based Fox Communities Credit Union announced two promotions.

Jason Behling was promoted to vice president of retail lending operations. In his new role, Behling will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies, policies and procedures to ensure efficient and compliant loan operations to meet production goals and deliver high quality service to members. Behling joined Fox in 2005. Most recently, he served as assistant vice president of retail lending operations, and before that, he held the title of assistant vice president of retail lending.

Stephanie Delgado was promoted to vice president of small business and treasury management. In her new role, Delgado will be responsible for driving forward the small business lending and treasury management programs. Delgado joined Fox in March 2021 as a commercial loan officer and was promoted to assistant vice president of business services in September 2021. She has more than 10 years of experience in commercial lending and treasury management.

The $392 million, Oswego, Ill.-based Earthmover Credit Union promoted Janel Cabadas to EVP. Cabadas has been with the credit union for over 20 years, starting as a teller at ECU's student-run branch, Panther Credit Union, at Oswego High School. She returned to ECU after college, where she has served as business development manager, marketing director and, most recently, vice president of marketing and business development. In her new position, she will play a greater role in the direction of the credit union, guiding more departments and managing major strategic projects.

NASCUS conducted its annual elections for its Regulator Board and Credit Union Advisory Council in August 2024. Members of both groups will be seated during its Annual Meeting held at next month's State System Summit (S3) in Colorado Springs. In addition, new officers for the Board and Advisory Council will be installed during the NASCUS Annual Meeting on Oct. 22, 2024.

In his new role, he is responsible for expanding LenderLogix' market share. Head brings more than 20 years of sales experience in the mortgage industry, having most recently served as strategic accounts representative for Enact Mortgage Insurance for more than 12 years. Before Enact, Head held sales positions with Forward Financial and Prime Mortgage Company.
