The $1 billion, Modesto, Calif.-based Valley First Credit Union hired Mary Roberts as CFO. Roberts, who brings more than 40 years of accounting experience, joins Valley First from the $359 million, Foothill Ranch, Calif.-based Eagle Community Credit Union, where she served as CFO for eight years followed by interim CEO. She previously held leadership positions at Xceed Financial Credit Union (now the $6.7 billion, Manhattan Beach, Calif.-based Kinecta Federal Credit Union), Vineyard Bank, American First Credit Union ($1 billion, Brea, Calif.) and Southern California Bank. Roberts holds an MBA from California State University, Long Beach and is a graduate of the CUES CEO Institute.

The $1.9 billion, Portsmouth, N.H.-based Lighthouse Credit Union hired Emily Moore as director of advancement for the Lighthouse Credit Union Foundation (formally Northeast Credit Union Foundation). In her new role, Moore will guide the development of a successful, results-oriented advancement program. She will oversee the Foundation budget planning, as well as lead and direct the fundraising efforts and communications strategies to further enhance strategic community involvement in the areas of affordable housing, food insecurity and education. She brings nearly 20 years of nonprofit development experience, having previously served in roles at the University of New Hampshire Foundation, Wentworth-Douglass Hospital Foundation and most recently The Music Hall.

The $2.5 billion, Suitland, Md.-based Andrews Federal Credit Union announced three board appointments.

Kenneth McKinney was re-elected to serve a three-year term on the Andrews Federal board. McKinney is the current board chair. He is a retired United States Air Force Colonel and serves as COO for Hawkins Group LLC.

Harold Springs was re-elected to serve a three-year term on the Andrews Federal board. Springs currently serves as chair of the Supervisory Committee and is a retired United States Air Force Colonel.

Natasha Taylor was re-elected to serve a three-year term on the Andrews Federal board. She serves on the Board of Directors, Policy and Bylaws Committee and CUSO Committee for Andrews Federal. Taylor is an Active Duty United States Air Force Colonel.

MIDWEST

The $483 million, O'Fallon, Mo.-based West Community Credit Union promoted Tomas Lira to assistant branch manager of the credit union's Brentwood, Mo., location. In his new role, Lira will be responsible for ensuring branch accuracy in reporting and loan processes. He will also concentrate on the employees' professional and personal growth to ensure a productive and efficient experience for credit union members. Lira has served in the virtual branch since 2022, brings a background in loan processing and mortgage services, and is fluent in Spanish.

The $5.3 billion, Eau Claire, Wis.-based Royal Credit Union hired Brook Jackson as treasury management officer. In her new role, Jackson collaborates with her team to help businesses streamline their day-to-day operations, liquidity management and more. In addition, Jackson partners with business owners to use Royal Treasury Management services to improve their cash flow and general operations. She brings 11 years of treasury management experience and specializes in relationship management and financial analysis.
