Credit Union Advisory Firm SRM Buys Core System-Focused Consultancy
The acquisition of Kenneth J. Sole & Associates expands SRM’s services to core systems optimization and conversion support.
Strategic Resource Management (SRM), a Memphis, Tenn.-based credit union and bank consulting firm specializing in vendor contracts, strategy, payments and technology advisory services, has acquired banking technology consulting firm Kenneth J. Sole & Associates, SRM announced Thursday.
Based in Holbrook, N.Y., Kenneth J. Sole & Associates assists credit unions, as well as community, regional and national banks, with their core processing platform conversion, migration support and outsourced leadership needs. As a result of the acquisition, SRM will be expanding its services to include core systems optimization and conversion support, the company said.
According to the announcement, employees of Kenneth J. Sole & Associates will become SRM employees, and the firm’s president and founder, Kenneth J. Sole, will lead SRM’s implementation services business and delivery model architecture. The McLean, Va.-based Clearsight Advisors served as the exclusive financial advisor to SRM for the acquisition, SRM added.

Kenneth J. Sole & Associates has been in business since 1988 and has also provided project management, core optimization, staff augmentation, data rationalization, and mergers and acquisitions tech stack selection and support to its hundreds of clients.
In 2022, SRM acquired Sievewright & Associates, welcoming company founder Mark Sievewright, a former Fiserv executive, as SRM’s chief strategist to credit unions.
