Shared Accounts With CU Times: Turning CUs On to Performance Marketing Tech

Fintel Connect CEO and Founder Nicky Senyard discusses the value of digital marketing tools and the rise of female fintech leaders.

Nicky Senyard, an Australian living in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, is a 20-year pioneer and entrepreneur in performance marketing. She began her career in PR and marketing, built and exited her first SaaS marketing tech company in 2016, and in 2020 launched performance marketing technology company Fintel Connect, whose clients include U.S.-based credit unions.

In this episode of “Shared Accounts With CU Times“, Senyard shares why taking advantage of scalable, secure, marketing intelligence solutions can drive growth for credit unions. She also breaks down recently-released CFPB guidance that could impact credit unions that utilize the affiliate marketing channel.

And, given that Senyard is at the helm of an all-female leadership team, we would be remiss not to ask her what it’s like to be a female leader in the predominantly male field of financial services and technology. Listen as she shares the story behind the formation of the Fintel Connect team (spoiler: its fully-female status wasn’t intentional), how the industry’s gender makeup has changed over the years and why raising children can be an asset to a woman’s career, not a detriment. It’s a lively, insightful and honest conversation that you don’t want to miss!
