The board of directors for the $11.3 billion GreenState Credit Union in North Liberty, Iowa on Tuesday announced the appointment of a new president/CEO, Vikram Israni.

He succeeds Todd Fanning, who was named interim CEO last September when Jeff Disterhoft retired.

Israni previously served as CFO for the $9.6 billion Wings Financial Credit Union in Apple Valley, Minn., for more than nine years.
