Bryan Wisher

The $2.1 billion, Denver-based Westerra Credit Union hired Bryan Wisher as a mortgage loan officer. Wisher brings over 15 years of experience in the financial industry and 12 years of mortgage origination experience, specializing in construction, doctor/dentist and jumbo lending. He started his career in the financial industry as a personal banker and quickly found his niche in mortgage lending.

Stephen Skokos, wealth advisor for the $18 billion, Sandy, Utah-based Mountain America Credit Union’s Mountain America Investment Services, was selected as one of Forbes’ “Top Next-Gen Wealth Advisors” in Utah for the second consecutive year. Skokos has been with Mountain America Investment Services since 2008, services the St. George and Cedar City, Utah areas, is a Certified Financial Planner and services more than $150 million in brokerage and advisor assets through LPL Financial.

Before joining Mountain America Investment Services, he worked as a consultant for the U.S. Commerce Department in Shanghai, China, where he became proficient in Mandarin Chinese. He holds a master’s degree in finance from West Texas A&M University. The award recognizes financial advisors who are under the age of 40. Each recipient was selected by SHOOK Research and chosen based on an algorithm of qualitative criteria, including in-person interviews, industry experience, compliance records, revenue trends, assets under management and encompassing the highest standards of best practices.

Christopher Hiller

The $326 million, Fairhaven, Mass.-based Alltrust Credit Union appointed Christopher Hiller and William Keegan to its board of directors.

Hiller is a Realtor at Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty and the founder of Hiller Property Management, LLC. He has been working with the community for over 10 years helping people find new homes while also managing properties. Hiller has also been a volunteer at the New Bedford Yacht Club, Padanaram Business Association and other local events throughout the years.

William Keegan

Keegan previously worked as town manager for the Town of Foxboro, Mass. He has also held multiple town positions throughout his career, including working in the Seekonk, Mass., area. Keegan was a former volunteer at the Rotary Club in Shrewsbury, Mass., and part of the Lions Club in Wayland, Mass. He has also served on multiple boards over the course of his career and brings extensive experience in leadership.

The $448 million ServU Credit Union in Painted Post, N.Y., announced one new hire and two promotions.

Courtney Woods was hired as vice president of lending. Woods brings nearly 13 years of experience in the credit union industry. She started out as a teller/member service representative before moving into lending and real estate departments, and most recently served as a business lending manager.

Kathy Dilmore was promoted to vice president of human resources. Dilmore has been in the credit union industry for 24 years, including the last six years at ServU. She previously held roles in marketing, business development and operations, and holds a SHRM-CP certification.

Jocelyn Brooks was promoted to assistant vice president of digital experience. In her new role, Brooks will lead the credit union’s digital banking areas as well as the contact center, and will assist with the development and implementation of the credit union’s digital strategy. Brooks joined ServU in 2017 as a teller in the Painted Post branch, and since then, she has held several roles in the electronic services and digital banking departments.

Erik Lipus

Bridgewater Credit Union, a division of the $2.2 billion, Lawrence, Mass.-based Merrimack Valley Credit Union, hired Erik Lipus as branch manager of the Bridgewater, Mass., branch. Prior to joining MVCU in late October 2023, Lipus spent nearly 17 years at Citizens Bank, where he began working as a teller in 2007. He worked his way up through various leadership positions including banker, senior banker, assistant manager, branch manager and business relationship manager.

Jaime Marks

The Ontario, Calif.-based credit union people operations firm Humanidei announced the hiring of two new recruiters, Jaime Marks and Sonya Watkins.

Marks brings over two decades of financial institution experience, having served in various leadership roles within retail branch networks, operations, commercial and consumer lending, strategy and people operations. She most recently served as the plastics, card and payments manager at California Coast Credit Union ($3.3 billion, San Diego).

Watkins brings 28 years of experience working in retail banking and focusing on the delivery of exceptional member service at the $11.8 billion, Anchorage-based Alaska USA (now Global) Federal Credit Union.

Sonya Watkins

As vice president of branch administration, Alaska region for Alaska USA, Watkins was responsible for branch operations, market trends, product development, banking strategies, service delivery, coaching and development. She also offered members financial literacy services.
