Trevor Amezcua Trevor Amezcua

The $2.5 billion, Riverside, Calif.-based Altura Credit Union hired Trevor Amezcua as SVP of retail operations. Amezcua brings more than 20 years of retail and operations experience, having most recently served as CEO for The Kids Business, Inc. in Indio, Calif. He also served in various roles for Lowe's Home Improvement during his career.

The $2 billion Caltech Employees Federal Credit Union in La Canada, Calif., promoted Pattyl Aposhian Kasparian to its executive leadership team as chief marketing officer and SVP of marketing and development. Aposhian has been with CEFCU for over 24 years.

In her new role, she will continue to lead and oversee communication, marketing, development, sponsor relations, education, and member growth and retention, as well as advance CEFCU's brand and drive strategic development initiatives that further contribute to the strength, security and stability of the credit union. She holds an MBA with a concentration in marketing and finance from Pepperdine University in Malibu, Calif. In 2016, she earned the Chief Innovation Executive designation through CUES, completing her first year at MIT Sloan School of Management and her second year at Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Cindy Nieves Cindy Nieves

The $1.2 billion, Papillion, Neb.-based Cobalt Credit Union announced two new hires.

Cindy Nieves was hired as vice president of mortgage operations. Nieves brings over 35 years of experience in mortgage services, lending, strategic planning and marketing. Most recently, she served as a director of mortgage operations at a local credit union. In her new role, Nieves will serve on Cobalt's leadership team and be responsible for leading and overseeing mortgage operations, driving strategic initiatives and ensuring the continued success of the credit union's mortgage services.

Michael Eisner Michael Eisner

Michael Eisner was hired as information security officer. Eisner brings 19 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, strategic planning, risk management and incident response. Most recently, he served as an assistant vice president of cybersecurity operations at a local financial institution. In his new role, Eisner will serve on Cobalt's leadership team and be responsible for leading the credit union's information and cybersecurity infrastructure. He holds an MBA from the University of Nebraska, Omaha.

The $4.9 billion, Eau Claire, Wis.-based Royal Credit Union promoted Angie Johnson to member service manager.

In her new role, Johnson is responsible for actively managing daily member service center operations, as well as guiding and developing team members, and leading member service supervisors and team leads to achieve strategic goals while delivering an exceptional experience for Royal's members. Johnson began working at Royal in 1994 as a teller, and has since held various positions in member service and deposit operations. She most recently served as member service supervisor II.

Lacey Weaver Lacey Weaver

3131 Media Solutions, a full-service advertising agency and subsidiary of the $623 million, Metairie, La.-based OnPath Federal Credit Union, hired Lacey Weaver as director of brand strategy. Weaver brings nearly 20 years of experience in corporate communications and senior marketing roles. She most recently served as SVP for the Louisiana Credit Union League. In her new role, Weaver will drive the client's creative and digital strategy, capitalize on public relations opportunities and help successfully execute event management. In addition, she'll help 3131 Media clients establish a robust communication plan that targets a variety of external and internal audiences, including customers, employees, stakeholders, media, regulatory bodies and the overall general public. She holds a master's degree from Tulane University in New Orleans, La., and a Credit Union Marketing Executive Designation.
