Jana Erny Named New President/CEO of Kentucky's Park Community CU
She will succeed Jim Spradlin, who will retire in December after 28 years of service.
Jana Erny will become the next president/CEO of Park Community Credit Union in Louisville, Ky., on Dec. 4, the board of directors said.
She will succeed current President/CEO Jim Spradlin, who is retiring next month. He joined Park in 1995 and was appointed its CEO in 2010. During his tenure, the credit union grew assets from $457 million to its current assets of $1.3 billion while loans increased from $324 million to $960 million, and membership expanded from nearly 50,000 to more than 77,000, according to NCUA Call Reports.
Erny most recently served as chief marketing and experience officer for the $2.1 billion P1FCU in Lewiston, Idaho. For more than eight years, she also served as SVP of retail experience, lending and operations for the $3.8 billion Numerica Credit Union in Spokane Valley, Wash. Before joining the credit union movement, she worked as vice president of consumer/small business lending, operations and servicing for AmericanWest Bank, and as a vice president of consumer/small business lending for Washington Trust Bank, according to her LinkedIn page.

Jana is committed to providing service and value to our members, and we look forward to the continued success of Park Community under her leadership.”
The credit union’s 289 employees operate 16 locations.
