Lindsey Salvestrin Named CEO of Washington’s Columbia Credit Union
She succeeds former CEO Steve Kenny, who retired earlier this year.
Lindsey Salvestrin has been named president/CEO of the $2.3 billion Columbia Credit Union in Vancouver, Wash.
She was appointed interim CEO in January following the retirement of Steve Kenny, who served as CEO for 14 years.
Salvestrin joined Columbia CU in 2000 as SVP for service delivery and project management. She also served as chief experience officer and was named SVP and COO in 2016, according to her LinkedIn professional profile page. Last year, Salvestrin was promoted to EVP.
“Lindsey and her leadership team have the board’s full support and confidence as they continue with our progressive, people and community-centric strategic direction,” Columbia Credit Union Board Chair Joe Vance said in a prepared statement.
Columbia CU’s 304 employees operate 16 locations in Washington and Oregon that serve nearly 112,000 members.
