NACUSO Names Ronaldo Hardy President & CEO
Hardy takes over the position from Jack Antonini, who’s retiring this summer.
The National Association of Credit Union Service Organizations (NACUSO) has named longtime credit union advocate Ronaldo Hardy as its next president/CEO.
On Thursday, NACUSO’s board of directors announced Hardy’s appointment to replace outgoing President/CEO Jack Antonini, who will retire this summer. Antonini has been NACUSO’s leader since 2012.
“NACUSO is a dynamic, energetic and collaborative organization,” NACUSO Board Chairperson Becky Reed said. “Ronaldo embodies all of those qualities, which made him an ideal choice to lead the association through its continued journey.”
“Ronaldo’s experience, passion and integrity were key in making him an ideal selection to be the next leader of NACUSO,” Nick Evens, chairperson of the search committee, said. “We believe he can deliver on the board’s vision and plan for growing the association.”
Hardy has been a well-known figure in the credit union industry for several years. Previously, Hardy was president/CEO of Southwest Louisiana Credit Union as well as president/CEO of Shell Geismar Federal Credit Union. Most recently, Hardy was CU Strategic Planning’s owner and chief people officer.
Hardy is also the founder and lead pastor of the Love Alive Church in Baton Rouge, La.
“I am honored to join this great organization and to build on the foundation that has been established,” Hardy said. “NACUSO holds a pivotal position in propelling our industry forward through its focus on innovation and collaboration. As we forge ahead, I look forward to working with our board and staff to expand our reach and impact for the collective success of our movement.”
In a statement from CU Strategic Planning, CEO Stacy Augustine said, “We’re excited to see the impact Ronaldo will have at NACUSO, an organization founded on sparking collaboration and innovation within the credit union community.”
Hardy joined CU Strategic Planning in 2019 to launch the organization’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Belonging and Accessibility practice.
The search to fill NACUSO’s leadership positon was completed in partnership with the CEO and executive recruitment organization Humanidei.
