New Leadership Hires Announced at Desert Financial CU & HRCU

Plus, four professionals are promoted at California’s First Entertainment CU and Georgia’s Robins Financial.

Andrea Mosher

The $8.3 billion, Phoenix, Ariz.-based Desert Financial Credit Union hired Andrea Mosher as chief lending officer. In her new role, Mosher will spearhead consumer, commercial and small business lending programs at Desert Financial. She joined the credit union industry in 1997 and has held executive-level positions in both branch operations and lending. Most recently, Mosher served as SVP of lending at Lake Trust Credit Union ($2.6 billion, Brighton, Mich.). Before that, she served as vice president of lending at University of Michigan Credit Union ($1.3 billion, Ann Arbor) for eight years. Mosher serves as a board member for the student-lending CUSO Credit Union Student Choice, a member of the Experian Advisory Board, vice chair of the NAFCU Lending Council and a former Filene Research Institute i3 member.

Molly Holcomb

The $2.1 billion, Hollywood, Calif.-based First Entertainment Credit Union announced three promotions.

Molly Holcomb was promoted to SVP, chief marketing officer. Holcomb joined First Entertainment in 2021 as vice president of marketing. In her new role, she will be responsible for awareness-building efforts by expanding membership to new facets of the entertainment industry and leading key initiatives to deepen relationships with existing members.

Janet Kwon Gaspard was promoted to SVP, chief people officer. Gaspard joined First Entertainment as vice president, people operations in 2022 and has 30 years of experience building high-performance, collaborative and workplaces-of-choice cultures. In her new role, she will oversee the credit union’s people operations as well as the development and rollout of workplace-of-choice strategies that support the credit union’s people-first philosophy and ensure a high-trust and healthy work environment for all teammates.

Janet Gaspard

Jennifer Jordan was promoted to SVP, chief risk officer/general counsel. Jordan joined First Entertainment in 2011 as compliance specialist and was later named vice president of risk management. In her new role, she will continue to help the credit union navigate the increased risks facing the banking industry today by reducing losses and protecting member assets while advocating on behalf of the credit union and its members with legislators.

Terry Wiegelman

The $418 million, Rochester, N.H.-based HRCU hired Terry Wiegelman as director of marketing. She brings 24 years of experience in credit union marketing, having most recently led the marketing initiatives at Members First Credit Union ($251 million, Manchester, N.H.). In her new role, she will lead HRCU’s newly-formed marketing team, working to deliver innovative products and services to the credit union’s membership and elevate the member experience. Wiegelman serves on the board of directors for Pope Memorial SPCA of Concord-Merrimack County in Concord, N.H.

Amanda Haworth

The $4.3 billion, Warner Robins, Ga.-based Robins Financial Credit Union promoted Amanda Haworth to vice president of human resources and learning development. In her new role, Haworth will oversee the strategic direction and implementation of HR initiatives and training programs, further strengthening the credit union’s commitment to its employees’ growth and development. She will also lead the execution of key initiatives, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, compensation and benefits, and resource development. In addition, she will work alongside executive leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support the credit union’s long-term goals, enhance employee satisfaction and drive organizational success. Haworth has been with Robins Financial for over 20 years and has held various positions throughout the organization. She holds a SHRM Senior Certified Professional certification and serves on the board of directors for the Rainbow House Children’s Resource Center, currently as chairman.
