The $377 million, West Jordan, Utah-based American United Federal Credit Union promotes Amy Daniels to EVP, effective Sept. 1, 2023. Daniels has been with American United for 21 years, having most recently served as SVP of operations.

Marilyn Wagner Marilyn Wagner

The $2.4 billion Andrews Federal Credit Union in Suitland, Md., hired Marilyn Wagner to its leadership team as vice president of marketing. In her new role, Wagner will be responsible for developing and leading strategic marketing and communications efforts for the credit union. Wagner's credit union experience includes serving as marketing director for IDB Global Federal Credit Union ($784 million, Washington, D.C.) and as principal vice president for marketing and new business development at Lafayette Federal Credit Union ($1.8 billion, Rockville, Md.). During her 25-year career in marketing and communications, she has also held strategic leadership roles at global telecommunications and entertainment companies Verizon Wireless and MTV Networks. She holds an MBA from Johns Hopkins Carey Business School in Baltimore, is a Cornell Certified Diversity Professional and earned her certification from the IRL School at Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y.

Sharon Medeiros Sharon Medeiros

The $341 million, Fairhaven, Mass.-based Alltrust Credit Union hired Sharon Medeiros as CFO. Medeiros has worked in the banking industry for more than 20 years, primarily in accounting and financial departments. She most recently served as SVP and chief accounting officer at BankNewport. In her new role, she will have primary oversight of accounting, financial management and reporting, asset liability management and investments of the organization. In addition, she will evaluate and direct improvements to accounting, budget and reporting processes, while ensuring that practices comply with Alltrust's accounting policies and applicable laws and regulations. She will also oversee the facilities management of the credit union.

Toni-Ann Sforza Toni-Ann Sforza

The $4.3 billion, New York, N.Y.-based Municipal Credit Union promoted Toni-Ann Sforza to chief people and experience officer, effective May 1. Since March 1, 2021, Sforza had served as MCU's chief human resource officer, leading HR and learning and development. Several months after joining MCU, Sforza took over management of corporate security, fraud and facilities, and in September 2022, she was named to temporarily lead the credit union's member experience teams, including retail branches, the contact center and member support services, in addition to HR, learning and development, corporate security, facilities and the newly-formed financial crimes and intelligence team, which is made up of fraud and BSA/AML. For more than 18 years, Sforza has served in various people leadership roles within New York's financial services sector, and holds sHRBP and SHRM-CP certifications. In 2015, the National Association of Professional Women inducted her into their "Woman of the Year Circle" in recognition of her trusted leadership in HR.

Chad Arterburn Chad Arterburn

The $6 billion Tinker Federal Credit Union in Oklahoma City, Okla., hired Chad Arterburn as assistant vice president of information technology, user support. In his new role, Arterburn will oversee TFCU's technical assistance to TFCU employees and board members. He will be responsible for ensuring staff are trained and coached on effective methods of providing support in the use of various software applications, computer equipment, peripheral devices and more. Arterburn most recently served as the help desk manager for BankOnIT, LLC in Oklahoma City, providing over 200 banks and credit unions with everyday IT support needs. Arterburn's background also includes roles in cybersecurity for financial institutions. He holds a master's degree in leadership and organizational development from Oklahoma Christian University.

Xiong Lee Xiong Lee

The Minnesota Credit Union Network (MnCUN) hired Xiong Lee as director of engagement. In her new role, Lee will lead MnCUN member engagement, and manage professional development and networking programs for the trade association. She brings over 15 years of credit union experience.

Wayne Oleksak Wayne Oleksak

SwitchThink Solutions, a Phoenix-based IT services CUSO formed in partnership with Corelation, promoted Wayne Oleksak to SVP, digital experience and innovation. In his new role, he and his team will be responsible for delivering digital product strategy for credit unions across the nation. Oleksak joined SwitchThink four years ago as vice president, digital experience and innovation. He has 30 years of product leadership and user experience, having previously served at Norton LifeLock and GoDaddy, and holds an MBA.

Members Development Company (MDC), a research and development CUSO in Kansas City, Mo., announced two new hires.

Alex Johnson Alex Johnson

Alex Johnson was hired as a business consultant. In his new role, Johnson will work in the strategic execution office, mapping project strategies to support business objectives and linking those objectives to outcomes that positively impact credit union owners and their members. Johnson brings a decade of experience in the financial services industry with a background in marketing, community relations and member experience.

Ryan Serrano was hired as a business relationship strategist. In his new role, Serrano will spend his time formulating, implementing, enabling and executing initiatives to strengthen relationships with MDC owners and partners. His professional experience includes time in IT, analysis, project management and project implementation. Serrano holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix – Arizona.

Joe Reece Joe Reece

The Atlanta-based enterprise technology provider NCR Corporation announced Joseph "Joe" Reece was elected chairman of its board of directors, effective May 2. Reece is co-founder and managing partner of SilverBox Capital LLC. He became an NCR director and was appointed independent lead director on Nov. 4, 2022, and brings more than 35 years of experience advising public and private corporations and boards. He succeeds Frank R. Martire, who retired after serving as executive chairman since April 2018.
