The Tampa (Fla.) Police Department said shortly after 6 a.m. on Friday, officers responded to a report of a person who had been shot outside Suncoast Credit Union at 1920 E Hillsborough Ave.
The victim, who suffered a gunshot wound to the upper body, was transported to Tampa General Hospital where the person was later pronounced deceased.
