CU Professionals Celebrate Board Appointments & Honors
Two leagues, PSCU, GWLN, ServiStar Consulting and two credit unions announce career milestones.
EAST
Gina Seibert, CFO for the $8.3 billion, Harrisburg, Pa.-based PSECU, was named to the 2022 Women Making a Difference List by PA Business Central. According to PA Business Central, the Women Making a Difference list “seeks to celebrate those women whose intelligence, drive, determination and dedication have led to business success” and community improvement. Seibert has been with PSECU for 19 years, first joining the credit union as asset/liability management and investments manager. Since then, Seibert has been promoted several times, including to her roles as director of ALM and investments, assistant vice president of finance services, and vice president of strategic growth, product development and marketing. She was appointed to CFO in July 2022. She holds an MBA from Lebanon Valley College in Annville, Pa., is a Certified Treasury Professional and Chartered Financial Analyst, and is a 2022 graduate of Leadership Harrisburg Area’s Executive Leadership Series.
SOUTH
The $2.1 billion Allegacy Federal Credit Union in Winston-Salem, N.C., appointed Quintin Williams as an associate board member. Williams currently serves as COO at Debbie’s Staffing Services, Inc. in Winston-Salem, holds an MBA from High Point University in High Point, N.C., and was previously named a Triad Business Journal 40 Under 40 honoree.
CUSOS
PSCU in St. Petersburg, Fla., announced a board appointment and two promotions.
Christine Blake, president/CEO of Cardinal Credit Union ($294 million, Mentor, Ohio), was appointed as an associate director to PSCU’s board. Blake has more than 25 years of banking and financial experience and has served as president/CEO of Cardinal since 2010. She was previously a senior manager and CPA at KPMG and an adjunct professor at Lakeland Community College. Blake has also served as the Ohio Credit Union League chair. She earned her MBA from Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, Ohio.
Dave Stafford was promoted to EVP, chief transformation officer. In his new role, Stafford will oversee the CUSO’s recently established Transformation Office, which will serve as the operations hub for the company’s transformation initiatives. Stafford has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. Since joining PSCU in April 2012, he has held positions responsible for leading information technology, product development, product management, analytics, strategic partnerships and innovation. For the last seven years, he served as SVP, chief information officer.
Stephen Summers was promoted to SVP, chief information officer. Summers has over 25 years of experience in IT from his service in the United States Air Force and the insurance industry, in which he held various IT leadership roles. He joined PSCU in 2020 and served most recently as managing vice president, IT Enterprise Shared Services.
CUSO ServiStar Consulting, which provides coaching, training and hiring services, hired Megan James as learning and development manager. James holds advanced degrees in adult learning and counseling, and brings significant training and instructional design experience to the ServiStar team. In the new role, she will help credit unions transform their team members into high-performing, award-winning member-centric sales and service champions that align with their credit union’s mission and purpose.

The Illinois Credit Union League announced Staley Credit Union Board Director Mike Landacre as a 2022 recipient of its Lifetime Achievement Award during its Annual Convention Celebration Luncheon on Nov. 4 at the Sheraton Grand Chicago. As a category in ICUL’s Hall of Fame Awards, this prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes a current or former leader’s contribution to the credit union movement in Illinois and/or at the national level. Landacre has been an active, engaged and dedicated board director for the $201 million, Decatur, Ill.-based Staley since 1996, spanning nearly 27 years. He currently serves as the most senior director and vice chairman on the Staley board and is also an active member on two other board committees.
Mark S. Cochran, president/CEO for the $1.9 billion, Lowell, Mass.-based Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union, was honored as 2022 CEO of the Year by the Cooperative Credit Union Association during the CCUA Annual APEX Conference at the Mohegan Sun resort on Oct. 13 in Montville, Conn. The award recognizes credit union CEOs in Massachusetts, Delaware, New Hampshire and Rhode Island who demonstrate exceptional leadership, inspire their employees and commit to putting the needs of others at the forefront.

Global Women’s Leadership Network Pennsylvania Sister Society Co-chair Lori Gall will step down as an officer of the organization at the end of 2022 after seven years as co-chair. Gall, chief risk officer for Vizo Financial Corporate Credit Union ($6.9 billion, Greensboro, N.C.), helped found the PA Sister Society in 2015 alongside former co-chair Amey Sgrignoli of the $917 million, Harrisburg, Pa.-based Belco Community Credit Union. Gall was later joined by Linda Brown of Service 1st Federal Credit Union ($621 million, Danville, Pa.), after Sgrignoli resigned from her role in 2019.
Trish Shermot, director of government affairs/regional urban development officer for the $5.4 billion, Endwell, N.Y.-based Visions Federal Credit Union, will take Gall’s place as co-chair of the PA Sister Society. The Global Women’s Leadership Network is a program of the World Council of Credit Unions.
