Workers CU, TFCU & Texans CU Hire, Promote Executives
Plus, core processor Corelation hires a new business development executive.

The $2.4 billion, Littleton, Mass.-based Workers Credit Union announced one new hire and one promotion.
Bob Leger was hired as SVP of treasury, asset and liability management, and investments. In his new role managing the credit union’s finances, forecasting and reporting, Leger will oversee the credit union’s cash flows, liquidity models and simulations, investment portfolios, collateral, ALM, pricing and analytical reporting. He brings 25 years of financial experience and most recently worked for Infinity Federal Credit Union ($336 million, Westbrook, Maine). Previously, he held CFO roles at Town & Country Federal Credit Union ($516 million, Scarborough, Maine) and York County Federal Credit Union ($337 million, Sanford, Maine), as well as served as controller of Aroma Joe’s Franchising in Maine.
Caroline Santangelo was promoted to SVP of marketing and product performance. In her new role, she will continue her current duties of raising awareness for the credit union and its financial wellness services, as well as drive the performance of products by furthering the credit union’s understanding of member wants and needs, and strengthening member relationships and engagement. Prior to joining Workers, Santangelo held marketing and analytical leadership roles at Liberty Mutual Insurance, WGBH and Arkwright Mutual Insurance Company. She earned her MBA from Boston University.
SOUTH
Tinker Federal Credit Union ($5.9 billion, Oklahoma City, Okla.) hired Kevin Jamison as executive director of the TFCU Foundation, TFCU’s philanthropic entity and a non-profit 501(c)3 organization created in 2018 to assist Oklahoma veterans, police, firefighters and active duty military. Jamison served in the US Marine Corps from 1990 to 2010, which included serving in Operation Uphold Democracy Haiti in 1994, Operation Silver Wake in Albania in 1997 and three tours in Iraq. He retired as a chief warrant officer. In 2014, Jamison founded the Veterans Community Project to build a village of tiny homes to assist the underserved community of homeless veterans in Kansas City, Mo., and in 2017, he served as the deputy director at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Foundation.
The $2.1 billion, Richardson, Texas-based Texans Credit Union announced five promotions.
JJ Bai was promoted to vice president of development and host systems within the IT department. Bai joined Texans in 2021 and has more than 20 years of experience in the credit union industry, working both at credit unions and for an industry IT development partner. In his new role, he oversees Texans’ software initiatives, and leads the development and business analyst teams. Bai holds a master’s degree in computer science.
Tanya Patterson was promoted to vice president of IT systems. An 18-year Texans veteran, Patterson served in multiple positions within operations and emerging technology before becoming a part of the IT team. In her new role, she oversees emerging technologies, the help desk, information security and IT infrastructure with a focus on ensuring high member service and data integrity. Patterson is a Certified Auditor and Certified Information Systems Auditor.
Kris Jones was promoted to the newly-created role of vice president of enterprise risk management. In this role, Jones is in charge of Texans’ audit and compliance teams, and its vendor management process. Jones started her career at Texans as a teller 30 years ago and has held a number of different positions within the credit union. She is a CPA, Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager and Credit Union Enterprise Risk Management Expert.
Todd Cook was promoted to director of finance. In his new role, Cook leads the finance team and the credit union’s data analysis efforts, and manages the facilities team. Cook has been with Texans for 14 years and held positions in accounting, purchasing and finance.
John Traweek was promoted to the newly-created position of director of IT infrastructure. He has been with Texans for seven years, and in his new role, he manages all of the credit union’s IT hardware and servers.
VENDORS
The San Diego-based core processor Corelation hired Mike Reiskis to its business development division as a business development executive based out of the Chicago area, effective Sept. 6, 2022. Reiskis brings more than 30 years of credit union strategy and technology experience to his new role. His previous positions in the industry have included senior sales executive at Fiserv, and area vice president roles at both FIS and Open Solutions (now part of Fiserv).
