Registration opened on Tuesday for the 2023 CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC) in Washington, D.C.

The conference will be held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center from Feb. 26 through March 2.

This conference will mark the second in-person GAC since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.

CUNA President/CEO Jim Nussle said, “CUNA GAC is an essential part of the credit union movement and sets up the momentum to achieve our advocacy agenda each year. We’re excited to return to Washington, D.C. for another great event with can’t-miss speakers, important breakout sessions, networking opportunities and so much more.”

Nussle continued, “Our 2022 GAC reminded us just how important it is to meet with policymakers face-to-face. We need to build on our recent legislative successes.”

In the past two years, CUNA held a fully-virtual GAC in 2021 and returned to the in-person event in 2022. Historically, the in-person GAC attracts roughly 6,000 people to Washington, D.C. – the largest credit union event by far.

While the agenda for the 2023 CUNA GAC has not been set, officials stated the conference will include keynote speakers, breakout sessions, and other training and resources to help credit unions in their communities.

Registration information for the 2023 CUNA GAC can be found on CUNA’s website.
