7 CU Industry Professionals Promoted, Elected & Recognized

TFCU, Financial Plus CU and Premier One CU place employees into new leadership roles.

EAST

Teresa Conrad

The $1.8 billion, Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass.-based Hanscom Federal Credit Union elected Teresa S. Conrad chairperson of the Hanscom FCU Charitable Foundation, the credit union’s charitable arm. Conrad joined the Foundation’s board in 2012 and most recently served as secretary for the last four years. This is her second time as chair, having previously served from 2017 to 2018. She has also served on Hanscom’s board of directors since 1999 and is currently vice chairperson. Conrad previously served as secretary of the board, and has also functioned as chairperson of the board’s regulatory/political action and volunteer recruitment committees. She retired from the U.S. Air Force as a civilian program manager in 2019.

Karesse Sato

Karesse Sato, product development manager for the $1.2 billion, Honolulu, Hawaii-based Aloha Pacific Federal Credit Union, was chosen as one of 21 women from diverse industries for the  2022-2023 Patsy T. Mink Leadership Alliance, a Hawaii program designed to help mid-career women advance their management and leadership skills. The 10-month program begins Aug. 25 and includes 100 hours of facilitated sessions with topics such as financial business acumen; community and civic impact; diversity, equity and inclusion; the power of persuasion and strategic planning. Sato joined Aloha Pacific in 2012 as branch manager of the Kapolei, Hawaii branch and has nearly two decades of experience in the financial industry. She is also a licensed notary public and Realtor in the State of Hawaii.

Monique Cisneros-Neider

The $557 million, San Jose, Calif.-based Premier One Credit Union announced two promotions.

Monique Cisneros-Neider was promoted from BSA/risk supervisor to BSA/risk manager. Cisneros-Neider has been with PremierOne for nearly 13 years and worked in various positions and departments, including as a branch member service representative, senior call center agent, senior support analyst and senior BSA risk analyst. She is also a graduate of PremierOne’s Emerging Leadership Program.

Amparo Arzola was promoted from real estate manager to director of real estate lending. Amparo has been with PremierOne for 13 years and previously served as a consumer loan officer, lending manager (consumer, real estate and indirect lending) and real estate lending manager.

Michelle Thompson

The $813 million Financial Plus Credit Union in Flint, Mich., promoted Michelle Thompson to vice president of operations. In her new role, she is responsible for establishing, leading and executing strategic initiatives, the operations team, project management and card services. Thompson has been with Financial Plus for eight years and holds over a decade of experience in the banking industry. At Financial Plus, she has served as a branch manager, area branch manager and most recently as director of strategic innovation.

Tasha Windicsh

Tinker Federal Credit Union ($5.9 billion, Oklahoma City, Okla.) promoted Tasha Windisch to assistant vice president, floating branch manager. In her new role, Windisch assists members at any of TFCU’s 32 branches when the resident branch manager needs to travel for training or take leave. She works with the regional directors of branch operations to determine which branches require staffing assistance and coordinates additional staffing as needed. In addition, when working with branch staff, Windisch helps ensure members receive the best account or service for their financial needs. She has worked at TFCU for 26 years, beginning as a member service representative and rising to lobby supervisor, teller supervisor and assistant branch manager before serving as assistant vice president, branch manager at TFCU’s North Rockwell branch in Oklahoma City for three years.

Amber Gravius

The NCUA promoted Amber Gravius to director of the Office of Business Innovation and chief data officer. Gravius previously served as acting Business Innovation director and as a supervisory special assistant for Business Innovation representing stakeholders in the development of the NCUA’s new Modern Examination and Risk Identification Tool (MERIT). She joined the NCUA in 1999 as a credit union examiner and served as a supervision analyst, risk management officer, loss risk analysis officer and supervisory examiner before joining the Office of Business Innovation. She holds an MBA with a concentration in information technology from the Keller Graduate School of Management at DeVry University in Naperville, Ill.
