5 Credit Unions in the East, South Hire & Promote Executives

Vice presidents and SVPs are named at Greylock FCU, Hanscom FCU, American Eagle Financial CU and REV FCU.

Terry Ziemba

The $1.5 billion Greylock Federal Credit Union in Pittsfield, Mass., announced the promotion of five managers within its branch services network to vice president roles.

Terry Ziemba was promoted to vice president, retail services/cash management. In her new role, she will continue to oversee teller line operations, security, safety and compliance throughout the branch network. She has been with Greylock since 1995, marking a 27-year tenure with the credit union. Ziemba holds Greylock’s Bees Prendergast Memorial Service Award for service above self, and sits on the board of directors for Massachusetts’ Berkshire County Chapter of the Cooperative Credit Union Association, where she currently serves as treasurer.

Stephanie Carlson

Stephanie Carlson was promoted to the newly-created role of vice president, retail member services. In her new role, she will support SVP, Retail Services Robert Sims as well as branch member service teams and functions. Carlson joined Greylock as a teller in 2003 and most recently served as vice president, market manager. She is a current member and the immediate past president of the Great Barrington Rotary Club in Great Barrington, Mass.

Gloria Beraldi, Joe Maffuccio II and Jean Noel were each promoted to vice president, market manager. In their new roles, they will continue to oversee a portfolio of branches in their territories.

Beraldi joined Greylock in 1994 as a Quality Time Club representative providing financial and member services exclusively to Greylock’s older membership. She has risen through branch services to attain her new role overseeing the Pittsfield branches in the Berkshire Medical Center and General Dynamics office on Elm Street and West Street, where she also serves as branch manager. She also served on the board of directors of Downtown Pittsfield, Inc.

Maffuccio started with Greylock in 2007 as a teller and now oversees three branches: Lanesborough, Mass., and Pittsfield’s Allendale Center and Kellogg Street branches, where he also serves as branch manager. He is the recent past president of the Tyler Street Business Group in Pittsfield.

Joe Mafuccio

Noel joined Greylock in 2001 and oversees Greylock’s North Berkshire County branches in Williamstown, Adams and North Adams, Mass., where she also serves as branch manager. She has been in banking for over 40 years. Noel also serves as a member of the Rotary Club of North Adams where she is also a past president, and previously served on the Northern Berkshire United Way board of directors and co-chaired Greylock’s team in the Northern Berkshire Relay for Life.

The $1.8 billion, Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass.-based Hanscom Federal Credit Union promoted three employees to senior-level management positions within its operations office.

Monique Archambeault

Monique D. Archambeault was promoted to SVP, operations. Archambeault, one of Hanscom’s longest-tenured employees, oversees the operational activities and initiatives for the credit union, and is primarily responsible for oversight of the operational integrity of its card service, deposit operations and branch operations departments. In her new role, she’ll also be responsible for helping to drive the execution of organizational strategy to ensure that the credit union’s goals and objectives are successfully met. Since joining Hanscom in 1982, Archambeault has held a number of different positions, starting with head teller and climbing the career ladder to communications director, member services manager, operations manager and most recently vice president, operations. She is a NAFCU Certified Compliance Officer.

Carol Perron

Carol Perron was promoted to SVP, branch banking. Perron joined Hanscom in 2018 as vice president, branch administration, holding responsibility for eight retail locations, as well as the credit union’s member relations department and call centers. In her new role, Perron will oversee a new reporting structure within all branches, as well as deliver on the strategic initiatives developed for branch staff. Prior to joining Hanscom, Perron held senior-level positions at Leominster Credit Union ($799 million, Leominster, Mass.) and Commerce Bank & Trust.

Cynthia Lewis was promoted to vice president, branch operations. Lewis, who has been with Hanscom since 2004, will oversee a department that’s responsible for writing and updating all operational procedures for branches and remote support, as well as preparing the credit union’s 22 branches for all regulatory and security audits. Lewis began her banking career at Shawmut Bank and later joined Sovereign Bank, where she worked her way up from teller to assistant vice president, branch manager.

American Eagle Financial Credit Union ($2.4 billion, East Hartford, Conn.) hired Ashley Rollins as vice president of consumer lending. In her new role, Rollins will focus on all aspects of lending, including consumer and real estate originations, collections, process improvement, automation and loan reporting. She brings over 11 years of experience in financial service operations, quality control and consumer loan products, having most recently served as loan administration officer for the $928 million, Chantilly, Va.-based Justice Federal Credit Union. She earned certificates from the NAFCU Management and Leadership Institute and the Harvard Business School Leadership Academy, as well as a Yellow Belt Certification from Lean Six Sigma, and has taught financial literacy classes at Richmond, Va., elementary schools.

Will Bigsby Jr.

The $5.9 billion, Oklahoma City, Okla.-based Tinker Federal Credit Union announced four promotions.

Will Bigsby Jr. was promoted to assistant vice president, manager of finance and accounting. In his new role, Bigsby is responsible for the credit union’s financial investments and asset management, as well as maintaining its financial integrity. He provides the accounting information needed for TFCU’s senior management and board of directors’ strategic planning. Bigsby most recently served as a senior internal auditor at TFCU for three years. He earned an MBA from Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, Okla.

Maria Garner

Maria Garner, Shelby Lightfoot and Eboni Rhodes were all promoted to the position of assistant vice president, branch manager. In their new roles, they will oversee member experiences at each of their branches and mentor their respective teams to ensure TFCU meets its members’ financial needs. They will also participate in local events on behalf of TFCU to build and strengthen community bonds.

Garner, who oversees the OKC, Southwest and OKC, Southwest Drive-Thru branches in Oklahoma City, has worked at TFCU for 11 years. Working her way up from a part-time member service representative position, Garner has worked in many branch roles including lobby supervisor and assistant branch manager. She also worked in TFCU’s information technology department as a business systems analyst for two years.

Shelby Lightfoot

Lightfoot manages the OKC, North Rockwell branch in Oklahoma City and has been with the credit union for seven years. While attending Oklahoma State University for her bachelor’s degree in business management, Lightfoot worked at TFCU’s Stillwater branch as a part-time teller. During her time with TFCU, Lightfoot has assisted members at the Yukon, Okla., and Moore, Okla., branches.

Rhodes supervises the OKC, Northeast and OKC, Metro Tech branches in Oklahoma City. As a TFCU employee for five years, she assisted members as a call center representative and supervisor at TFCU’s member service center before transitioning to her branch management position.

Eboni Rhodes

The $986 million REV Federal Credit Union promoted Jennifer Saunders to vice president of retail. Saunders joined REV in 2021 from the $2.6 billion, Virginia Beach, Va.-based Chartway Federal Credit Union. Prior to transitioning to her new role, she served as REV’s director of retail, overseeing North Carolina branch operations and its contact center. In her new role, Saunders will oversee all aspects of REV’s retail operations for its 15 locations across the Carolinas and its Charleston, S.C.-based contact center.
