Pennsylvania's TruMark Financial Credit Union Names New CEO

Kelly Botti succeeds Richard Stipa after his 21 years of service at the Keystone State’s sixth largest credit union.

TruMark Financial Credit Union named Kelly Botti president/CEO, the board of directors of the Washington, Pa.-based cooperative said in a prepared statement on Friday.

She succeeds President/CEO Richard F. Stipa after his 21 years of service.

Stipa joined TruMark in 2001 as its CEO. During his tenure, the credit union grew its assets from $631 million to its current assets of $2.7 billion, while membership expanded from 78,373 to its current membership of 131,981, according to NCUA Call Reports.

TruMark is ranked the sixth largest credit union by assets in the Keystone State, according to Deposits.com.

“It has been a privilege to lead TruMark Financial for the past 21 years and I am grateful for the support shown to me by the board, managers, staff and community during my time as CEO,” Stipa said. “I have great confidence that with Kelly Botti as the new Chief Executive Officer, TruMark Financial Credit Union will continue to serve the needs of its members, staying true to the credit union’s core values and purpose.”

Botti joined TruMark Financial in 2014, most recently serving as SVP, chief risk officer and corporate counsel. She brings more than decade of experience in banking and senior leadership.

She most recently focused on facilitating the credit union’s strategic planning process and plan execution. Additionally, she was responsible for the implementation of TruMark Financial’s enterprise risk management program, as well as the fraud, legal, collections and compliance areas of the credit union.

“Kelly’s strategic leadership experience and her commitment to helping our members reach their financial well-being makes her a great fit for TruMark Financial’s chief executive officer,” TruMark Financial Board President Leonard V. Doughty III said in a prepared statement. “The board of directors would also like to thank Rick for all he has done for our credit union, our members and our community as CEO. Rick has been a relentless credit union advocate and a champion for organizational excellence.”

Trumark Financial’s 384 employees operate 24 branches and a contact center.
