Credit Unions in Missouri & Colorado Appoint New CEOs

Michelle Rosner will lead Alltru FCU and Meagan Barrett takes the helm at Northern Colorado CU.

Michelle Rosner will become president/CEO of the Alltru Credit Union in St. Louis, after current president/CEO Carol Minges retires in April, the board of directors said in a prepared statement.

After joining Alltru CU as its chief information officer in 2008, Minges was named CEO in June 2013. During her CEO tenure, the credit union grew its assets from $203 million and 34,000 members to $318 million and 36,782 members, according to NCUA Call Reports.

“Through her years at the credit union, Carol led us through (a) strategic evolution, a global pandemic, technology innovations, a rebrand, and helped develop many accessible products and services for our community,” Alltru Board Chair Gina Hakenewerth said in a statement. “The board is grateful for Carol for her devotion and wishes her nothing but the best as she retires and builds a new home in Indiana with her husband.”

Rosner joined Alltru in 1997 as its first marketing manager. Since then, she also worked as vice president of corporate communications, vice president of sales and marketing, and vice president of lending and marketing. Since 2015, she has served as vice president of lending.

Alltru, which changed its name from 1st Financial Federal Credit Union in November 2020, has 114 employees who operate four branches and a call center.

On Jan. 26, Meagan Barrett became president/CEO of the Northern Colorado Credit Union in Greeley, the board of directors said in a prepared statement.

She succeeds Russ Dalke who will retire on March 31.

Dalke worked in the credit union industry for more than 25 years and served as NCCU’s CEO for 6 years. During his tenure, the credit union grew assets from $52 million to $72 million, according to NCUA Call Reports.

Barrett joined the credit union nearly seven years ago and previously served as its vice president of operations. She also worked in commercial banking in Maine for 11 years.

NCCU’s 15 employees operate two branches that serve 3,325 members.
