John Robinson
John Robinson will become president/CEO of Western Sun Federal Credit Union in Broken Arrow, Okla., on Jan. 1, the board of directors announced last week.
He succeeds current President/CEO Robert W. Taylor, who will be retiring at the end of the month following 28 years of service.

Taylor was named CEO of Western Sun in April 2009. Under his executive leadership, the credit union's assets grew from $93 million to $194 million, third quarter Call Reports showed, while membership expanded from 18,941 to 24,234. Before becoming CEO, Taylor served as the credit union's CFO for seven years.
Robinson joined Western Sun in 1999 as the Okmulgee branch manager and currently serves as COO.
He brings more than 28 years of credit union experience, including 22 years serving in senior management positions, according to the credit union.
Western Sun's 60 employees operate six branches throughout the Tulsa metropolitan area.
