Compliance Tech Firm ViClarity Launches Consulting Services for CUs
With AdVisor, members of governance, risk and compliance teams can gain access to on-demand expertise.
ViClarity (formerly PolicyWorks, LLC), a governance, risk and compliance (GRC) management solution provider serving highly-regulated industries including credit unions, revealed it has added consulting to its list of service offerings this week.
The new suite of solutions, named AdVisor, are integrated into ViClarity’s flagship business intelligence technology platform for GRC professionals and allow users to submit one-off federal compliance questions to ViClarity consultants. Responses can be archived and shared among other users within a credit union team, ViClarity said. In addition, certain package levels of AdVisor enable users to assign tasks, such as document reviews, to a ViClarity consultant.
Credit unions can also take advantage of Advanced Onboarding, an AdVisor service that provides a review of the institution’s compliance content, policies and procedures before they are uploaded to the GRC platform, as well as an analysis of the credit union’s GRC processes.
“AdVisor services are about bringing people, processes and technology together to further enhance a credit union’s governance, risk and compliance functions,” Jeremy Smith, director of client partnerships for the Des Moines, Iowa-based ViClarity, stated. “Automation has proven to be a tremendous boost across credit union operations, but there remains a strong need for human analysis in many of those areas, including GRC. For credit unions heading into a post-pandemic regulatory environment and working to meet accelerating member demand for digital experiences, efficiency has to be balanced with expertise.”
