The $972 million, Allentown, Pa.-based credit union on Wednesday unveiled the launch of Business First, a suite of personalized solutions for business members, and Work First, a program offering free access to First Commonwealth membership for business members' employees and their families.

The rollout of Business First personalizes the banking experience for business members, providing each with their own dedicated team of business solutions experts. The program also includes a networking and learning component, which gives business members access to educational seminars, resources and tools including networking events and access to discounts.

First Commonwealth Chief Lending Officer Kevin Brown stated, "Each member has a dedicated local business solutions manager who really knows their business and is passionate about providing personalized service and comprehensive business solutions. Their local team of business solutions experts are real people ready to deliver personalized experiences when, where and how you and your business needs them. Everything we do is designed to help busy business owners easily and conveniently manage their business and personal financial needs. We provide comprehensive business solutions all in one place."

Businesses that take advantage of Business First can also reap the benefits of Work First. This program makes a business a First Commonwealth employer partner, connecting its employees and their families directly to the credit union's consumer products and services, including loans, saving and investment products, and free financial counseling. Members who are connected to the credit union through Work First can also access concierge banking and financial education onsite at their employer's business.

"We created the (Work First) program to help our business members attract and retain employees by bringing added value to their employee benefits and onboarding programs," James Gagliano, the credit union's chief experience officer, stated.

First Commonwealth currently serves more than 1,500 businesses in Pennsylvania's Greater Lehigh Valley. Products and services available to First Commonwealth business members include loans and lines of credit, credit cards, checking and savings accounts, and digital banking and cash management solutions.
