The $508.7 million, Elkhart, Ind.-based INOVA Federal Credit Union recently contributed $1,077 to the World Council of Credit Unions' Global Good initiative. The funds were raised through INOVA's Global Good Visa credit card program. When INOVA members use their Global Good Visa card, INOVA donates a portion of the income generated to WOCCU, helping to fund the expansion of affordable financial services and financial education programs around the globe. Polish & Slavic Federal Credit Union volunteers distribute doughnuts in Connecticut to celebrate Fat Tuesday. The $2.37 billion, Brooklyn, N.Y.-based PSFCU handed out nearly 2,000 paczki – traditional Polish doughnuts reserved for Fat Tuesday – to veterans, seniors and essential workers including nurses, doctors, police officers and firefighters in Connecticut, as well as to members at all 20 PSFCU branches. The initiative began on Valentine's Day and was sponsored by PSFCU.

My Kid's Club (MKC), a Johnston County, N.C., non-profit seeking to raise campaign funds for a new facility to benefit underserved youth, recently gained the support of the SECU Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization funded by the contributions of members of the $47.3 billion, Raleigh, N.C.-based State Employees' Credit Union, with a $500,000 challenge grant. The organization lost its home to Hurricane Matthew in 2016 and has since been providing after-school programs and services for local youth ages six to 18 from a local elementary school campus. MKC is the only operating center for youth programs in Johnston County and currently delivers daily programming to more than 200 students. Pictured from left to right are MKC Executive Director Alison Gammage, SECU Foundation Board Member Alice Garland, SECU Foundation Board Chair Jo Anne Sanford and MKC Board President Wendy Kelly.

Peach State FCU recently delivered its quarterly food bank donation to ACTS in Bogart, Ga. Non-perishable food items donated by the members and staff of the credit union are collected each quarter and donated to a food bank or pantry in the credit union's service area.

IMCU's partnership with Carmel High School Athletics allows Carmel fans the opportunity to show their school spirit and support the athletic program by signing up for a Carmel Greyhounds themed debit card. Every time the card is used as a signature-based transaction, Carmel High School Athletics benefits, and the more cards that are in use, the larger the contribution. Since the IMCU giveback program began in 2013, Carmel High School athletics has earned $12,274.
