The $2 billion, Santa Ana, Calif.-based Orange County's Credit Union named Angela Moran chief information officer. Moran brings over 20 years of experience in planning and implementing innovative, business-transforming IT solutions within the financial services, health care and insurance industries, most recently serving as chief information officer for the $2.9 billion California Coast Credit Union in San Diego. She replaces Laura Thompson, who retired in August after more than 30 years with the credit union. In her new role, Moran will be responsible for supporting the credit union's mission by providing strategic and robust technology platforms and enabling processes to further strategic initiatives.

The $4.8 billion, Waterloo, Iowa-based Veridian Credit Union announced two new promotions.
Khristin Pfalzgraf was promoted to the position of mortgage loan underwriter I. Pfalzgraf has worked at Veridian for 21 years and was previously a home equity underwriter.
Gina Mathern was promoted to the position of manager of digital banking.

Mathern has worked at Veridian for 16 years and was previously an integration analyst II. Mathern has a bachelor's degree in business management from the University of Northern Iowa. She is a member of the United Church of Christ in Reinbeck, Iowa and volunteers on its Christian Board of Education. Mathern also serves as a board member for the Gladbrook-Reinbeck Booster Club.
Hopewell Federal Credit Union ($115 million, Heath, Ohio) promoted Joe Boudreau, branch manager of its Johnstown, Ohio office, to lending manager.

Boudreau has 14 years of financial industry experience including nearly 12 years with HFCU, which he first joined in 2002. He has held positions as a member service associate, assistant branch manager and branch manager. He also holds a certification from CUNA as a Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC).
The $800 million, Lansing, Mich.-based LAFCU hired Rob Boomershine as vice president of lending.

Boomershine has 14 years of experience in the financial services industry, working for credit unions in positions such as loan officer, lending manager and branch manager. He succeeds LouAnn Keitchen, who retired after focusing on lending services throughout her 33-year career at LAFCU. In his new position, Boomershine is responsible for managing LAFCU's lending products, including mortgages and consumer loans as well as new product offerings. He earned the designation of Certified Credit Union Executive (CCUE) from CUNA, and is licensed and trained as a Medicare insurance agent.

Royal Credit Union ($3.2 billion, Eau Claire, Wis.) named Geoffrey Bullock EVP – member experience. In this role, he is responsible for providing leadership for branch operations, the call center and deposit services, while guiding and influencing the integrated member experience with all Royal business units. Bullock has held various leadership roles for the last 16 years including at the Northwest Leadership Project, LSS Financial Counseling Service and US Federal Credit Union/Firefly Credit Union ($1.5 billion, Burnsville, Minn.). He is currently a doctoral student in the University of Southern California's Organizational Change and Leadership Program.

The $1.17 billion Mayo Employees Federal Credit Union in Rochester, Minn., welcomed Steve Flage to its executive team as chief lending officer. Flage brings 32 years of banking experience to the role, including extensive leadership expertise gained during his time in several chief officer positions. His background includes experience in commercial, mortgage and consumer lending at financial institutions throughout the Midwest, including in Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin and Illinois.
SOUTH

The $1.5 billion Credit Union of Texas in Allen, Texas promoted seven employees.
Courtney Coss was named chief retail officer. Coss has been with the credit union for more than 13 years, most recently as vice president of branch operations. In that role, she was responsible for 16 branch locations and oversaw 160 employees.

Angela Faust, who has been with CUTX for more than 15 years, was promoted to chief administrative officer. In her new role, she will spearhead the human resources, card services, e-payments, programming and compliance/fraud areas of business.

Jennifer Olvera entered the new role of chief engagement officer. Olvera, who joined CUTX three years ago as vice president of engagement, is involved in all community-facing and marketing projects. Now, all sales and service initiatives will be under her guidance.

Jessica Ortuno stepped into the position of vice president of support services. Ortuno, who has been with the credit union for 19 years, will be leading all support services for CUTX, including lending, home equity and its wholly-owned subsidiary FairLease.

Victoria Pilgrim was named vice president of programming and development. She has more than 15 years of IT experience, and in her new role, all programming and development initiatives at the credit union will be under her supervision.

Mike Vining was promoted to vice president of IT services. Vining has been with CUTX for more than 18 years and will now be responsible for all IT initiatives at the credit union.

Kerry Whitson began a new role as vice president of accounting. She previously served as the controller for CUTX and has over 18 years of experience in executive financial leadership roles. Now, all accounting responsibilities will fall under her guidance.
