Mary Ann Crossland, 38, of Keyser, W. Va., is facing multiple felony charges after she walked into a credit union branch with a shotgun and held five employees and members hostage for two hours.
Police were called to the Keyser branch of the $311 million Chessie Federal Credit Union at about 1:43 p.m. on Monday, according to the Mineral County Sheriff's office.

After surrounding the branch, police contacted people in the credit union lobby and then started negotiations with Crossland. Police negotiators got the suspect to release two persons, the Mineral County Sheriff's Office said.
During the standoff, Crossland reportedly demanded that she wanted to talk to the FBI and to be given a lie-detector test. She also requested a pizza and soda.
As negotiations continued, the suspect left her firearm, reportedly a rifle, when she walked into another room. At that time, the West Virginia State Police Special Response Team stormed the branch and took Crossland into custody without incident, according to a Mineral County Sheriff's statement.
The remaining three people in the branch were not injured, police said.
Crossland was placed under arrest and charged with five counts of kidnapping as well as possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.
She is being held at the Potomac Highlands Regional Jail.
