Professionals Reach Milestones at CUs, CUSOs & CU Vendors

Six credit unions, Emergifi and LenderClose announce employee moves.

WEST

Mike Quamma

The $853 million SESLOC Federal Credit Union in San Luis Obispo, Calif., hired Mike Quamma as CFO. Quamma joins the credit union senior executive team with deep banking expertise that will aid in developing long-term growth plans. He has close to 30 years of banking experience. Prior to joining SESLOC, he served as CFO at the $833 million Seattle Credit Union. He also spent 27 years at the $22 billion Boeing Employees Credit Union in Tukwila, Wash., in various financial positions, most recently as vice president of treasury.

EAST

Sandra K. Holzgen

The $6 billion PSECU in Harrisburg, Penn., named Sandra K. Holzgen, a human resources professional with more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, vice president of human resources. Holding a key leadership position, she will help elevate and optimize PSECU’s human resources function to support the overall goals of the organization. Her key responsibilities will include talent development and management, workplace engagement, staff recruitment, and retention and employee relations.

Maria Porto

Maria Porto, assistant vice president of partner relations from the $1.5 billion Hanscom Federal Credit Union in Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass., was named vice president of the Bedford, Mass., Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. She will serve the board in this role for a two-year term. Porto manages outreach for Hanscom FCU, ensuring members and prospective members have access to financial education tools and promoting credit union membership. She leads a four-person team providing educational seminars, attending community events and supporting Hanscom FCU’s commitment to members’ financial health.

Frank Giannelli

The $3.5 billion Affinity Federal Credit Union in Basking Ridge, N.J., hired Frank Giannelli as SVP of data and digital information technology. He will collaborate with management to create a strategic technology vision that further enhances the Affinity member experience. Prior to joining Affinity, Giannelli was a member of the senior management team at the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, where he managed the organization’s technology and data strategy.

MIDWEST

Holden Todd

The $763 million Ideal Credit Union in Woodbury, Minn., promoted Holden Todd to branch operations specialist. In his new role, Todd will serve as the primary contact for individual retirement accounts and health savings accounts needs at the credit union. He started his career in 2015 as an Ideal Student CU employee while in his junior year at Tartan High School in Oakdale, Minn., and has years of experience in financial services. As an Ideal student employee, Todd taught the award-winning “Money Talks” financial literacy program to Tartan and other local students for two years before graduating, and helped train the next student branch employees.

SOUTH

The $3 billion Keesler Federal Credit Union in Mobile, Ala., announced three employee moves.

Crystal Brooks

Crystal Brooks was named branch manager of the recently opened Midtown Mobile branch. In her role, Brooks will oversee the daily operations of the branch, including assisting members with deposit and lending needs. She also will represent Keesler in the community. She previously worked as a branch executive for another financial services company.

Brian Bates was named branch manager of the recently opened Mobile Westwood Plaza branch.

Samantha M. Bignell was named community development officer for the Eastern Region, which includes Mobile County in Alabama and Jackson and Harrison counties in Mississippi.

Bignell will be responsible for cultivating relationships between Keesler and members and potential members. This will include individuals as well as employee groups and other interested organizations. She also will create awareness of Keesler’s products and services, and work with the communities in her region.

CUSOS

Sam Goeb

Emergifi hired Sam Goeb as a business development executive. Goeb will work to assess the needs of credit unions, and market Emergifi’s products and services. He will also assist leadership with marketing strategies, business plans and sales objectives. Goeb brings more than 15 years of business development experience in diverse industries ranging from health care to technology. He has launched more than 10 new products and services over the course of his career, and most recently served as acting director of market development for a custom software development firm.

VENDORS

Tana Krumm

LenderClose hired Tana Krumm as vice president of marketing. Krumm brings an extensive background in developing impactful marketing strategies for a variety of financial and health care services providers. Most recently, she served as a marketing communications consultant for American Enterprise Group, a Des Moines, Iowa-based provider of healthcare capital, marketing, technology, services and products. Krumm will analyze the market to formulate and position differentiating marketing strategies designed to meet and exceed aggressive growth targets at LenderClose.
