Sean Cahill Named New CEO of True Sky Credit Union

He succeeds Steve Rasmussen, who served TSCU for 26 years.

Sean M. Cahill was named president/CEO of the $587 million True Sky Credit Union, the Oklahoma City-based cooperative said Monday.

He succeeds Steve Rasmussen who served TSCU for 26 years.

Cahill holds more than 25 years in the financial services industry.

Prior to joining True Sky, he served as president/CEO of the $84 million Southwest 66 Credit Union in Odessa, Texas. Cahill was named 2018 Professional of the Year by the Cornerstone Credit Union League for being an outstanding advocate of the credit union movement.

He also held executive roles at the $333 million Carter Federal Credit Union in Springhill, La., the $1.6 billion Arizona Federal Credit Union in Phoenix and U.S. Bank.

Cahill serves on the Credit Union Advisory Board for the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection and as director for Credit Union Resources. He also chairs the Cornerstone Innovation Committee and the Fiserv Strategic Committee and is president of the Southwest CUNA Management School Alumni Association.
