In Memoriam: Cheryl Shields Davis
Davis worked at Smart Financial Credit Union in Houston for 47 years.
Davis died of a decades-long battle with heart disease, according to her obituary.
She ended her career working as the credit union’s executive vice president, as well as the president/CEO of the credit union’s CUSO the Cornerstone league said.
Davis is survived by her husband, Fred, of 51 years, a daughter, son, stepdaughter and six grandchildren.
A memorial mass will be held Friday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in League City at 12:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Davis’ memory to DeBakery Heart & Vascular Center, 6565 Fannin Street, Houston, Texas 77030.
