Nine credit unions and Oak Tree Business Systems, Inc. saw employees climb the career ladder this past week. Check out the latest People news below.

WEST

Rachel Langtry

The $1 billion Credit Union 1 in Anchorage, Alaska, promoted Rachel Langtry to COO. Langtry was hired in 2005 as a marketing associate, and has since been promoted to numerous leadership positions within the credit union, including vice president of marketing and communications, SVP of administration and communications, and vice president of e-services. As COO, Langtry will oversee all branches and branch operations in addition to the credit union’s member service center and e-service initiatives.

The $136 million Providence Federal Credit Union based in in Milwaukie, Ore., hired Bryan Jordan as assistant vice president of lending to drive member financial support, and overall membership and asset growth. Jordan joins Providence FCU with more than a decade of banking and credit union experience both in managing loan programs and lending departments. Jordan’s addition comes as the credit union has already launched two new lending solutions this year.

Richard Wada

The $6 billion Patelco Credit Union in Pleasanton, Calif., hired Richard Wada as SVP, chief lending officer. As chief lending officer, Wada will be responsible for all credit and lending functions, and will own the overall loan portfolio management. He and his teams will direct the quality, growth, market competitiveness, risk management and asset diversity for consumer lending, mortgage lending and business loan portfolios.

EAST

The $248 million First Atlantic Federal Credit Union in Eatontown, N.J., selected Jean-Albert Maisonneuve as vice president of marketing. Maisonneuve has more than 15 years of marketing experience. He previously served as head of marketing and communications for ENYX. Prior to his time there, Jean-Albert served as SVP of marketing for First Key Holdings and vice president of marketing, product development and ecommerce for the $2.9 billion, New Jersey-based Affinity Federal Credit Union.

The $929 million St. Anne’s Credit Union in Fall River, Mass., promoted Luisa Rochester to vice president of residential lending. Rochester has been with St. Anne’s CU for 19 years, most recently serving as assistant vice president of residential lending, where she managed all mortgage loan fulfillment functions. In her new role, Rochester will continue to be responsible for the credit union’s staff of mortgage originators, mortgage assistants and underwriting personnel.

Daniel Rounds

The $3.5 billion SEFCU in Albany, N.Y., hired Daniel Rounds as vice president, member solutions center. In his new role, Rounds collaborates with other leaders throughout the organization to develop and execute enterprise-wide technology solutions to maximize the member experience through remote channels including phone, email, video and online chat. Rounds has extensive experience working in and managing call centers and providing exceptional customer service.

MIDWEST

Ram Ridgeway

The $1.6 billion Advia Credit Union in Parchment, Mich., hired Ram Ridgeway as vice president of digital experience, a new position at Advia. Ridgeway will be leading the strategic development of Advia’s digital channels and card products while capitalizing upon current technologies to help Advia meet member and employee needs. Prior to joining Advia, Ram was the Director of Retail Support at the $4 billion Wright-Patt Credit Union of Dayton, Ohio.

SOUTH

Joe Clark

Joe Clark, chief legal officer at the $2.2 billion Truliant Federal Credit Union in Winston-Salem, N.C., was named to CUNA’s Consumer Protection Subcommittee. Clark will serve a one-year appointment. Clark has more than two decades of management and leadership experience in the credit union industry. As chief legal officer for Truliant, he is responsible for legal affairs, which includes assuring legal, regulatory and compliance obligations are met.

The $1 billion Suffolk Federal Credit Union in Medford, N.Y., promoted two employees.

Debra Castro

Debra Castro was promoted to senior branch manager of the credit union’s Riverhead branch. In this position, Castro is responsible for developing new business relationships in conjunction with meeting credit union goals of increased membership, and loan and deposit growth. She manages all branch operations, performs regular analysis of production and sales data, and participates in local community affairs.

Megan Diehl

Megan Diehl was promoted to branch manager of the credit union’s Medford branch. In this position, Diehl is responsible for developing new business relationships in conjunction with meeting credit union goals of increased membership, and loan and deposit growth. She manages all branch operations, performs regular analysis of production and sales data, and participates in local community affairs.

VENDORS

Jeff Osburn

Oak Tree Business Systems, Inc. promoted Jeff Osburn to executive director of operations. Osburn joined Oak Tree four and a half years ago, and his responsibilities have increased in both the client services and sales departments. Osburn brings a wealth of operational experience in credit union forms, disclosures and compliance.
