Credit unions in Utah and Massachusetts recently announced they inked naming rights agreements.
Beginning in January, a convention and meeting venue that hosts more than 700,000 visitors and 270 events annually will be named Mountain America Expo Center.
Terms of the 10-year agreement were not disclosed.
The agreement will allow the $6.9 billion Mountain America FCU in West Jordan, Utah to host quarterly financial seminars that will provide the local community access to financial education resources. The first financial education event open to the public at the Mountain America Expo Center will be held next month.
Additionally, Mountain America 703,000 members will receive promotional benefits for select events.
In addition, to its name on display throughout the interior and exterior of the expo center, the agreement will allow Mountain America to install several ATMs throughout the venue.
The 258,000-square-foot expo center will continue to be owned by Salt Lake County and operated by a management services firm.
In Massachusetts, the $595 million Align Credit Union in Lowell said last month it signed a naming right agreement for the pavilion club in the Tsongas Center at UMass Lowell.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The Align Credit Union Pavilion is a 4,800-square-foot multi-level luxury concourse that provides 350 pavilion club members with a variety of amenities.
The venue hosts NCAA Division I college hockey and basketball games, concerts, family shows and conferences.
