Credit unions, leagues and other supporters have contributed $1,022,375 to help staff and volunteers affected by Tropical Storm Harvey, the National Credit Union Foundation reported Thursday.

"We're working with the Cornerstone Foundation and they've already disbursed, or are in the process of granting, funds to 275 people," Christopher Morris said, director of communications for the Foundation in Madison Wis.
