Carmen F. Sylvester was appointed last week as the new president/CEO of the $211 million Southern Mass Credit Union in Fairhaven Mass.
She succeeded Dan Waltz who left the credit union in May when he was named president/CEO of the $383 million City of Boston Credit Union.
Before joining SMCU, Sylvester served as vice president of finance at Centreville Bank in West Warwick, R.I. for more than five years, according to a prepared statement
