The $4.7 billion Ent Credit Union in Colorado Springs, Colo., hired Brynden Flick as insurance service representative. Flick has more than four years of experience in the insurance industry and most recently served as an insurance specialist at USAA in Colorado Springs.

The San Diego Business Journal recognized Teresa Halleck, president/CEO of the $7.7 billion San Diego County Credit Union in San Diego, at the 23rd annual Women Who Mean Business Awards. The awards program recognizes business leaders and role models who have contributed significantly to San Diego's businesses.

Alaska USA Mortgage Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of the $6.4 billion Alaska USA Federal Credit Union in Anchorage, Alaska, hired Andy Rosales as director, mortgage sales. Rosales brings a wide range of mortgage experience to the position, having previously worked as a loan officer, sales manager, regional sales manager and multi-state sales manager.

MIDWEST

Dan Stoltz, president/CEO of the $868 million SPIRE Credit Union in Falcon Heights, Minn., was elected chairman of the board for the University of Northwestern, St. Paul. Stoltz is a CPA and holds a bachelor's of science degree from the University of Northwestern, St. Paul, and a masters of business administration from the University of St. Thomas. UNW is a family tradition in the Stoltz household; his wife and all three children graduated from UNW.

SOUTH

The $442 million Family Trust Federal Credit Union in Rock Hill, S.C., named Penny Pratt president/CEO. Pratt brings more than 30 years of financial experience to the position. She begins her role as president/CEO in mid-January. Pratt, currently EVP and COO of SAFE Federal Credit Union, will replace Lee Gardner, who retires Dec. 31 after leading Family Trust for 37 years.

EAST

The $2.4 billion Municipal Credit Union in New York City promoted nine senior executives.

Kim Thompson was promoted to EVP/chief human resources labor relations officer. She has been with MCU for 27 years and was most recently SVP/chief human resources labor relations officer.

Janet Perkins was promoted to SVP/chief innovation officer. She has been with MCU for 14 years and was most recently vice president of process engineering. In this newly established role, Perkins will be responsible for the identification and implementation of new products and technologies that lead to operational improvements and better service delivery to members.

Louise Cogan-Rupani was promoted to vice president of marketing and e-commerce. She has been with MCU for more than eight years and was most recently assistant vice president of marketing.

Michael Mattone was promoted to vice president/public relations and corporate communications. With Mattone's promotion, MCU has established a separate public relations/corporate communications department within the credit union. Mattone has been with MCU for more than seven years and was most recently assistant vice president/public relations and corporate communications.

Steve Kibitel was promoted to the newly created position of vice president/product management and research development. Kibitel has been with MCU for more than 20 years.

Helen Brennan was promoted to assistant vice president/marketing and e-commerce. She has been an MCU employee for more than 10 years and was most recently senior manager of marketing and ecommerce.

Shawn Morton was promoted to assistant vice president/member service operations and project management from senior manager. Morton has been with MCU for more than 20 years.

Susan Ng was promoted to assistant vice president/operational risk management. Ng has been with MCU for six years and was most recently project manager/operational risk management.

Stacy Riley was promoted to assistant vice president/financial risk. She has been with MCU for the past three years and was most recently a financial analysis manager.
