This past week, five credit unions plus TMG Financial Services welcomed new executives to their staff. Plus, a credit union CEO in Indiana received a Cooperative Hero Award for outstanding leadership.

The $2 billion Truliant Federal Credit Union in Winston-Salem, N.C., hired Jon Fox (pictured) as senior financial advisor. Fox will offer investment guidance to member-owners to help them pursue individual and business goals through financial planning, insurance and investments. Most recently, Fox worked for the local official of Hillard Lyons financial consulting. Fox has more than three decades of banking experience.

The $1 billion Hiway Federal Credit Union in St. Paul, Minn., hired Scott Burger as business loan officer. Burger has more than 25 years of experience in consumer, mortgage and commercial lending in the Twin Cities area, most recently with Bank Cherokee in St. Paul. Burger said he is a firm believer in giving back to the community through volunteering and is a member of the West St. Paul/Mendota Heights Rotary Club. He graduated from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities with a degree in economics.

The $861 million Sierra Central Credit Union in Yuba City, Calif., hired Gene Marcucci Bell as vice president of business services. Bell comes to Sierra Central from Community Business Bank where she was SVP/senior lending officer, responsible for management of the bank’s loan portfolio including overall credit quality, underwriting and administrative standards.
