One Detroit Credit Union's take on the credit union difference had locals driving away singing its praises.
As a way to kickoff the launch of its Refi My Ride program, the $34 million credit union rewarded lucky Detroit drivers with $10,000 in free gas
Refi My Ride was designed to help users lower their monthly car payments by cutting their interest rates in half. According to the credit union, on average, monthly payments are reduced by $54.16, and sometimes by more than $100, representing a reduction of $3,476.43 over the life of the loan.
