This past week, 11 credit unions congratulated employees on their new positions and promotions.

These included a new CEO announcement at Patriot FCU and a new board member at Jetstream FCU.

EAST

executive promotions The $90 million Atlantic Financial Federal Credit Union in Hunt Valley, Md., named Tracey Jackson vice president of finance. She will lead AFFCU's finance and accounting team and is tasked with maintaining the credit union's strong financial stability as it pursues dynamic growth strategies. She spent the past 11 years in various finance positions with MECU of Baltimore, Inc.

 

 

 

executive promotions The $545 million Patriot Federal Credit Union in Chambersburg, Penn., named Brad R. Warner president/CEO. With more than 35 years in the financial services industry, Warner stepped in as interim CEO at the beginning of 2016 upon the retirement of former President/CEO Peggy Bosma-LaMascus. Warner most recently served as Patriot's chief strategy and marketing officer, having rejoined the credit union in 2014 following a previous stint as CFO from 2010 to 2011.

 

 

executive promotions The $457 million Connex Credit Union in North Haven, Conn., promoted Michelle Panzo to branch manager. Panzo has had involvement with nearly every facet of the credit union and has been part of the Connex family since beginning her tenure more than 25 years ago. She was an assistant branch manager for nearly 10 years prior to her promotion to branch manager.

MIDWEST

executive promotions The $2.9 billion Teachers Credit Union in Indianapolis hired Chantal Kowalski as director of public relations. She will be primarily responsible for the strategy, development and execution of the organization's public relations efforts across all external channels, including social media. Kowalski brings 10 years of public and media relations experience.

 

 

executive promotions The $168 million KALSEE Credit Union in Kalamazoo, Mich., promoted Sarah Saintsing to business services officer. She served as a consumer loan officer at KALSEE for a year and a half prior to her promotion.

SOUTH

executive promotions The $1.2 billion Texans Credit Union in Richardson, Texas promoted Tiffany Chisnall to COO. Chisnall will be overseeing several major areas of the credit union, including the management of Texans' branch network and the full-service call center, and areas pertaining to business development, marketing, emerging technology, member account services, and training and development.

 

 

 

executive promotions The $2.9 billion TDECU in Lake Jackson, Texas hired Deana Wooley, an insurance agent, to TDECU Insurance Agency, LLC. She will specialize in personal lines of insurance and be responsible for serving members in the Gulf Coast region. Wooley is a licensed agent with more than 25 years of experience.

 

 

 

 

executive promotions The $1.4 billion America's First Federal Credit Union in Birmingham, Ala., hired Jody Mattson as the community engagement manager. Mattson will lead America's First's efforts in the communities for which it's involved. She will also be involved in the Community First program, which is a credit union objective that encourages employees to give back to local charities. Since 2014, it has raised $114,000 for local charities.

 

 

 

 

executive promotions The $183 million JetStream Federal Credit Union in Miami Lakes, Fla., appointed Carmen Rogers as the newest member of the JetStream Federal Board of Directors. Rogers is a certified public accountant with her own practice in Miami Lakes. She served eight years on JetStream's supervisory committee and chaired it for the past five years.

The $721 million Tulsa Federal Credit Union in Tulsa, Okla., hired two employees. Teri Aulph was hired as SVP and chief human resources fficer. Aulph is the previous owner of Teri Aulph Consulting where she worked as a business consultant, executive coach and professional speaker. Kolette Sawyer was hired as SVP and chief marketing officer. In this position, Sawyer will be responsible for leading the development of strategic marketing plans to grow membership. Originally from Minnesota, Sawyer earned a Bachelor of Arts in communications from the University of Minnesota.

WEST

executive promotions The $795 million One Nevada Credit Union in Las Vegas promoted Trudy McClain to vice president of branch administration. In her new role, she will be responsible for member-facing channels and brand experience. McClain has been with One Nevada since 1996 and previously served as AVP of sales support and development.
