Great Lakes Credit Union made it easier for locals to enjoy the summer blockbuster movie season.
As part of its Random Act of Kindness iniative, employees from GLCU's Naperville branch headed to the local Ogden 6 Classic Cinema and suprised 25 moviegoers with free admission.

"I was touched by the appreciation the recipients showed. Everyone was very happy and shocked to have GLCU pay for their movie tickets," Naperville Branch Manager Nikki Appleyard said. "We actually had one moviegoer tell us that we sponsor her soccer team and another patron offered to buy us popcorn as her random act of kindness to us. As a new manager, it is a great experience to be able to give back to our community like this."
As a way to give back to their communities, GLCU branch staffers have planned to delight locals with various random acts of kindness throughout 2016.
