Georgia United Credit Union has selected Oakcliff Elementary School of Doraville as the winner of its 3rd Annual School Crashers Makeover program.

School Crashers is a unique program from Georgia United, which offers local schools the opportunity to apply for a facility makeover. The goal of the program is to bring communities together to support local schools and their school systems. Any public, private or parochial school in Georgia was eligible to submit a 250 word statement explaining why their school should receive a makeover.
At the end of the third grade honors assembly Debbie Smith, CEO of Georgia United, DeKalb County School District Superintendent Dr. Stephen Green, Oakcliff Principal Dr. Delores Paschall and numerous parents and faculty shared the good news with students.
Oakcliff Elementary School, built in 1965 and converting to a theme school in 1996, has 740 students and 80 faculty/staff.
