Delaware Credit Union League members voted Thursday to approve their trade association's merger with the Cooperative Credit Union Association, Delaware league Board Chair Joel Romaine said.

Romaine, COO of the $124 million Community Powered Federal Credit Union in Bear, Del., said all 28 credit union members voted for the consolidation.

If the merger is approved by credit union members of the Cooperative association, it will become the industry's first four-state league. The consolidation also would increase the Cooperative association's membership from about 180 to more than 200.
