The $1 billion Scott Credit Union signed a sponsorship deal May 12 that includes the naming rights of an MVP deck at Busch Stadium, the home field of Major League Baseball's St. Louis Cardinals.
Financial terms of the three-year agreement were not disclosed by the Edwardsville, Ill.-based cooperative.
The MVP Deck is a covered outdoor party deck in the stadium's left center field. The deal also includes scoreboard advertisements, player appearances and a sponsorship of a Cardinals promotional giveaway night.
Scott CU also will be the title sponsor of the St. Louis Cardinals Player Ticket Program, which provides tickets to children from area youth organizations. The credit union is also planning a ticket promotion later in the season that would allow members to get Cardinals game tickets.
“With St. Louis County being part of our field of membership, we are confident that this partnership with the Cardinals will help us continue to grow,” Scott President/CEO Frank Padak said. “This partnership really increases our visibility in our efforts to educate people throughout the area about the great value they get when they choose to do business with us.”
