The NCUA board will receive a briefing on call report modernization when it meets May 19 for a meeting with an unusually light agenda.
The meeting will be Rick Metsger's first as chairman, following Debbie Matz's exit from the board.
While no details about the staff briefing were available, the board faced questions about the call report process in January, when the board sent an incorrect due date for filing reports. At the time, Cooperative Credit Union Association President/CEO Paul Gentile called for the board to adopt a consistent timetable.
He said that while banks have a set timetable, the NCUA's is floating.
The only other item on the board agenda is the quarterly report on the Corporate Stabilization Fund.
The board has no closed session scheduled this month.
