Across the nation, credit unions announced promotions, transitions and new hires this past week. In addition, TMG hired a new executive and Affiliates Management Company welcomed a new employee.
MIDWEST
The $433 million Diversified Members Credit Union in Detroit, Mich., appointed Monique Dunbar (pictured) as COO. Dunbar most recently served as the interim CEO at the $67 million Credit Union of Atlanta. She brings more than 17 years of experience to the position and has expertise in business functions such as expedited member service, simplified loan administration, continuous learning, staff development and member retention.

The $1.1 billion FORUM Credit Union in Fishers, Ind., announced transitions and promotions within its lending and retail teams. Chris Ferguson joined the lending team as assistant vice president of consumer lending and will oversee the consumer lending program, including remote lending channels and the indirect auto loan program. Ferguson, who has been part of the FORUM team for 12 years, most recently served as assistant vice president of retail delivery. Kurt Niles was promoted to assistant vice president of underwriting. Niles will manage FORUM's consumer and mortgage underwriting teams. He joined FORUM in 2003 as the consumer loan underwriting manager and has more than 20 years of lending experience in the mortgage and auto fields. Christine Campbell was promoted to senior branch manager and will be responsible for the sales and service goals and support daily operations of FORUM's Broad Ripple, Carmel and Noblesville branches. Campbell has been with FORUM for six years and served as the Carmel Branch Manager for the last three years. Trevor Greene was also promoted to senior branch manager and will oversee core operations and goals at FORUM's Greenwood, Monument Circle and Southport locations. Greene joined FORUM in 2011 and most recently served as branch manager of the Greenwood branch.
The $1.5 billion Indiana Members Credit Union in Indianapolis announced Lori Foudray will serve as branch manager for IMCU's Stop Eleven branch location. As branch manager, she will oversee and manage daily branch operations. Foudray has been with IMCU for 27 years.
SOUTH
The $732 million SRP Federal Credit Union in North Augusta, S.C., hired Harry Gunsallus as president/CEO. He will succeed Ed Templeton who plans to retire later this year. Gunsallus is currently an executive vice president at Redstone Federal Credit Union in Huntsville, Ala. He also serves as president/CEO of Redstone Consulting Group, a subsidiary of the $4.2 billion Redstone. Gunsallus has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry.
EAST
Steven Olson (pictured) was hired as chief lending officer at the $1.7 billion TruMark FinancialCredit Union in Trevose, Penn. Olson brings more than 25 years of lending experience in the financial industry, most recently serving as executive vice president of lending at National Penn Bank.
The $161 million Members First Credit Union in Manchester, N.H., promoted Karl F. Betz to senior vice president and CFO. Betz is now responsible for oversight of the treasury, investment and accounting functions. Betz has more than 25 years of accounting and financial accounting experience. He joined Members First in 2013 as vice president and CFO.
The $574 million Merrimack Valley Credit Union in Lawrence, Mass., welcomed three new employees. Frank Donlan (pictured) joined the business development team as a business development officer. In this position, Donlan will be responsible for building relationships with local businesses and bringing new business accounts to the credit union. He has more than 18 years of business development experience, including more than eight years in the financial industry. Nancy Pierce was hired as a branch manager. Pierce will be managing the Plaistow, N.H., branch and its existing team of tellers and bankers. She has more than six years of experience in branch management, in addition to 10 years in retail management. Erin Antonino was hired as the manager of the North Andover branch. Antonino brings more than 20 years of experience to the current team in North Andover. She has held many roles in large national banks, including operations, branch management and facilitation.
VENDORS
TMG hired Ron Metschke as senior vice president, channel development for TMG. The new senior management team position was created to support the processor's recent growth. Metschke will be responsible for developing and executing new delivery channels and creating new market strategies for TMG. He will guide the growing payments processor through service to an expanding client base, working to empower TMG client growth.
TRADES
Affiliates Management Company, the holding company of the Iowa Credit Union League, hired Michelle Barker as general counsel. In this position, Barker will oversee the legal department and provide executive legal counsel for strategic business and operational matters for AMC and its family of companies, which includes Coopera, PolicyWorks, TMG, TMG Financial Services and the Iowa Credit Union Foundation.
