I have one thing to ask: Was that guy a member of a [state chartered] credit union or a federal credit union? I believe federal credit unions are safer with stringent rules!

The Democrats' dogmatic support of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2010 and the hyper-partisan and still controversial CFPB that the act established should preclude all Democrats from receiving any political action committee support from all of the financial services provider association's political action committees in 2016. Despite the "access" argument, the DFA and the CFPB are "killing off" the relationship-based credit unions and community banks so fast that PAC funding the anti-business, anti-free enterprise Democrats becomes a death wish for main street America.

Intriguing … there'd have to be analytics software so you could scale. But for all you know, "Charrie" may be a virtual assistant anyway. And people disclose their most intimate details to financial institutions anyway, so it wouldn't seem all that different. You may have started the revolution here, Heather!

Virtual is what makes this idea possible. Concierge banking without automation wouldn't be cost effective. The thing that makes Stitch Fix and Blue Apron work is customers can use online tools and apps to customize their experience. Blue Apron lets me select which meals I'd like each week and gives me the option to skip weeks, all without involving a customer service rep. Stitch Fix's extensive online questionnaire is probably applied against a matrix to produce clothing suggestions from a list of pre-selected items each month so Charrie doesn't have to start from scratch when she puts my box together. The online questionnaire process could be used by credit unions, too.

Bolt's statements are accusations that the credit union is engaging in unfair lending practices. If Bolt believes this is the case, a complaint can be filed and an investigation undertaken. If it is determined no such practices have occurred, Bolt should publicly apologize, and perhaps even lose her job for slandering others with hate speech.
